Siftly Privacy Policy
Siftly (“the app”, “we”) helps you categorize links you share or paste from social platforms so you can find them again in a personal collection. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
- Account: email, password (stored securely via Supabase Auth), optional name.
- Saved content: links you share or paste, optional notes, cover images, and source platform.
- Classification: category, short topic line, and tags.
- Technical logs: limited server records for debugging and security.
2. How we use data
- Read link content to assign category / topic / tags
- Show and search your saves in the app
- Run reminders and Free / Pro quota features
- Keep the service secure and stable
We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.
3. Third-party services
- Supabase: authentication and database
- Hosting (e.g. Railway): API server
- Groq / LLM providers: category and topic classification; short transcripts when needed
4. Retention
Your saves are kept while your account is active. When you delete the account or submit a data deletion request, related data is deleted or anonymized. Temporary media files are removed after processing; the collection keeps only the link and classification fields.
5. Security
Access keys stay on the server. The mobile app uses a restricted (anon) key; row-level security (RLS) so each user sees only their own data.
6. Your rights
- Access and correct your data
- Delete your account and data
7. Children
Siftly is not directed at children under 13.
